Management Education & Development – Authoring and Reviewing in the Scholarship of Teaching and Learning: An Invitation to Intellectual Impact Session Chair: Nhung Hendy Scholarship of Teaching and Learning (SOTL) research has gained increased prominence as external stakeholders demand evidence of student learning and accreditors require institutions to show evidence of impact. In this session, designed for educators at all levels of experience, participants will be provided with general information about authoring for SoTL journals, examine the basis for establishing impact of articles published in these journals, and gain hands-on reviewer experience by evaluating and providing practice feedback for parts of real SoTL submissions. In this session, prospective authors will meet with editors from the Journal of Management Education, the CASE journal, and Organization Management Journal to gain insight into publishing with a view to enhancing the scholarship of teaching and learning.
