The Tema Shipyard - the location of a once vibrant and one of the largest shipyards and drydocks on the African Continent has lost its luster, and many operations have fallen into disrepair due to a significant global market decline, mismanagement, corruption, and partisan political interference. A Leadership Consultant was hired to recommend how the Shipyard, could be effectively operated. This case study which is a real case was designed to help students grasp more profoundly the challenges of leadership consulting. This case is intended for use in upper-level undergraduate, MBA/MS Organizational Leadership (OL) and Executive Leadership programs.
