Program Theme: The workplace in this changing economy is full of conflict. However, most managers are afraid of conflict. Even our society is afraid of conflict because we equate conflict with divisiveness. Instead of viewing conflict as a source of constructive ideas, many have sought to either avoid conflict or accommodate. In this conference, we hope to build upon last year’s theme of collaboration to focus on the arts of conflict management. Please join us in sharing and debating approaches to conflict management, moving toward a more honest, cooperative and collaborative world.

Doctoral students, full and part-time faculty and practitioners are encouraged to submit papers and proposals for workshops and symposia relevant to the conference theme in any of the tracks.
